KUALA LUMPUR, June 3 – The cabinet has asked Works Minister Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor to review regulations in appointing contractors and consultants for government contracts, following the collapse of the roof at a government-built stadium in Terengganu yesterday.
Yesterday, 60 per cent of the roof of the Sultan Zainal Abidin Stadium in Gong Badak collapsed. The project was built at a cost of RM270 million and was officially opened by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin on May 10 last year.

Dear YB Shaziman Abu Mansor, please take this incident seriously, and get those responsible pinned up and jailed for good. Make sure that this was the only unforeseen case and no more!
It's lucky this happened at odd hour and there's no casualty.
Just imagine:
1) what will happened if it's during a football match? How many casualty were there then?
2) what if the Sultan or most of the Trengganu state VVIPs are there watching the game?
So, please take it seriously, investigate throughly and sentence the culprits with years of jail.
